How do I become a TED Speaker? Online audition for speakers

Jak zostać mówcą TED?

We organize an audition for people who dream of standing on the red dot. Do you want to perform on the TEDx stage? When you watch TED speeches, do you think you have an idea that is worth talking about? Got an idea worth spreading? If the answer to these questions is “YES” – we invite you to an online audition.

 We are looking for evangelists with valuable ideas, concepts and inspiring stories. We will focus on showing local heroes who change the life of their community for the better.

What are we looking for?

– Social trends

– Technological trends
– Ecological trends
– Communication trends
– Economic trends
– Others – surprise us

Step by step process

Send us an email with the subject “First Name Last Name – I want to become a TEDxWarsaw Speaker” to ➡️ speakers@tedxwarsaw.org.

In the return e-mail, we will ask you to:

– fill in a short form introducing yourself and put an outline in which you will briefly describe your idea in points;
– link to a 3-minute recording with your idea for a speech (recordings over 3 minutes will be rejected).

What is the process of choosing speakers?

People from the TEDxWarsaw team will watch your speech. You have 3 minutes to present your topic. We don’t expect a stage experience. If you are chosen – we will teach you everything, but of course it will also require a great effort from you.

We will finally decide who will perform at the beginning of September. E-mails asking for information about the results will be left unanswered. As soon as we finish judging the tapes, each candidate will receive a decision.

Submit your application by September 7, 2020.
