How do we work during training about communicating science and specialist topics to non-experts?
- The training will use the original Public Speaking Wizard method, which is effective and brings excellent results.
- A practical approach based on proven techniques, the latest trends in public speaking, and current scientific research.
- During the training, we focus primarily on practice, not theory, thanks to which participants acquire knowledge better and leave with practiced skills.
- The ©PSW method allows you to acquire knowledge and skills quickly and also provides clear guidelines on how to continue working independently.
The workshop on communicating science and specialist topics is all about breaking down complex ideas into engaging and understandable stories. The participants will learn techniques to make specialistic topics understandable and captivating for any audience. Through interactive sessions, hands-on exercises, and real-life examples, you’ll learn how to use storytelling, visual aids, and simplified language to convey your message effectively. Who am I?
I have a unique combination of experience and education in many disciplines that help me comprehensively prepare clients for speeches. I gained knowledge of business, sales, business etiquette, and the latest standards from the studies at the Warsaw School of Economics. Furthermore, I have extensive experience from working in a corporation and successfully running my own companies. In total, I gave more than 150 interviews on television, press, and radio, which reinforced in my mind the significance of self-confidence and self-presentation skills in front of a camera.
The second pillar is psychology and coaching. I’m a psychologist, a certified UW trainer, and a PCC coach accredited by the International Coach Federation. I completed postgraduate studies in coaching, an advanced course in business coaching, and several dozen training courses in soft skills.
The third pillar is stage activity. I was performing in the Cuban musical “Conoce mi Cuba.” I studied the cello in the first-degree music school and later in the second-degree jazz vocal class. I have performed at countless concerts and festivals. For many years, I have worked to overcome the stage fright that kept me awake at night, and today, supported by my experience and knowledge, I can help other people overcome the same fear.
The fourth pillar of activity is TEDxZurich, where I’m Head of Speakers. I prepare speakers for their unforgettable speeches and design their preparation process. So far, I provided substantive support to more than 30 speakers over 6 years. In 2021, I was chosen as one of the top 11 public-speaking coaches worldwide 2021, according to the Coach Foundation ranking.
